Averett offers the following programs in theatre. BA or BFA Theatre, BA English/Theatre, BA or BS Theatre with Teacher Licensure, BA English/Theatre with Teacher Licensure, and Musical Theatre Minor. The BA, BFA or BS in Theatre is a well-rounded degree where each major should graduate with the necessary skills to pursue Graduate School or participate in the production of theatre on a Professional level, or be ready to teach grades K-12. This is a liberal arts university and therefore we require that our students try all aspects of theatre.
