Gregg Alyn Buck (MFA, University of Maryland) is a seasoned theatre technician, scenic artist, and designer specializing in digital processes and computer visualization for scenic and projection design. Regional scenic designs for theatre include the U.S. premiere of From Here to There (Imagination Stage, Washington DC), Wit (Texas Reparatory Theatre, Houston, TX), Amy’s View (Stages Reparatory Theater, Houston, TX), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Surflight Theater, Beach Haven, NJ), and The Importance of Being Earnest and On Golden Pond (Unity Theatre, Brenham, TX). He also designed lights for Whit McLaughlin’s New Paradise Production’s staging of their award-winning play Prom. Gregg was invited to study scenic design with Ming Cho Lee at the Kennedy Center in 2004, and has continued to further his education by studying scenic painting with Rachel Keebler and Susan Crabtree at Cobalt Studios in White Lake, NY.
