Associate Professor of Theatre and Director of Curtain Call Musical Theatre Ensemble
Loretta Wittman is an Associate Professor at the University of Lynchburg.  She is the founding Director of Curtain Call, the musical theatre ensemble that focuses on contemporary musical theatre styles and partners with emerging NYC musical theatre composers and lyricists to create original songs for the group. She has directed and choreographed at numerous theatres across Virginia including Mill Mountain Theatre, The Academy Center of the Arts, and Sweet Briar College.  Regional theatre performance credits include Mill Mountain Theatre where she performed in the American Premiere of Children of Eden, Music Theatre Louisville, The Station Theatre, and Charlottesville Opera where she recently played Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods. She holds a MALS from Hollins University and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University.
